Aquascaping Couch - Episode 3
The third episode of our Aquascaping Couch series is an Interwiew with Mr. Thorsten Muck, CEO of OASE - one of the biggest brands in the Hobby. EPISODE 10: OASE BIORB WORKSHOP
This episode comes with English subtitles! Green Aqua Co-founder Attila Néder does an Oase BiOrb Florarium unboxing and setup - in Hungarian!
He talks about this unique and very decorative system, which is fully automated and will be a spectacular add-on for any living space.
The Oase biOrb will enable you to keep exotic plants that need a lot of humidity, virtually maintenance free for a longer time period. He was using Orchids and Tillandsia to set this Florarium up.

EPISODE 9: AQUARIUM MAINTENANCE
This episode shows you how we do the maintenance on our 150x60x50 cm (450 liter) tank, in less then 2 hours!
We talk about plant trimming techiques, addressing algae issues, we teach you how to clean algae, and we do a very quick water change.
Our professional maintenance colleague - Gábor Balázs will show you all the steps, while Viktor Lantos and Balázs Farkas are giving you interesting info.

EPISODE 8: GEORGE FARMER WORKSHOP
This episode shows you how distinguished UK professional aquascaper George Farmer builds a 120x45x45 cm (240 liter) aquarium at the Green Aqua Gallery.
George has been a good friend of Green Aqua founders Viktor and Balazs for many-many years. He has inspired us since the very beginning. George was founding member of UKAPS - the UK Aquatic Plant Society - a forum where we all got a lot of inspiration from.
The event is sponsored by Dennerle with beautiful aquatic plants. Alex Veres Dennerle Country Manager also attended the event and he spoke about the plants in detail.

EPISODE 7: PLANTING AND SETUP
This is the last episode of the first Live series. It shows you the completion of a long process, the final touches of setting up a Nature Aquarium.
You will learn about the aquatic plants selection - our guest from Dennerle, Alex Veres will show you the different types of plants, and we will proceed with planting, and finally, filling up the tank with water. We sincerely hope you liked the Live series, and will come back with more!

EPISODE 6: HARDSCAPE SELECTION
The sixth part of the Aquarium Setup Series guides you through the layout selection process. What kind of wood / stones do you need? How to arrange your layout? What substrate do you need, how to build the structure? We answer the most common questions.
We will start by selecting the rocks (Ammer stone), and wood (Iron wood). We will continue with pouring in the base-layer fertilizing substrate and general plant substrate, placing the hardscape on top and finalizing the scape adding detail: pebbles, small roots, etc.

EPISODE 5: SCAPER'S DAY 2
The fifth part of the Aquarium Setup Series brings you another special event: the second part of our highly successful Scaper's Day from 2014. We have four teams of three aquascapers, working simultaneously on 4 tanks, with unlimited access to all the Green Aqua products - hardscape, plants, etc.
This is a marathon Live Event - broadcasted for almost 6 hours, with English commentary, Hungarian interviews with the creators translated live to English.

The fourth part of the Aquarium Setup Series has a very special guest: Brian Miller, International Sales Manager of Seachem, USA! He has a very serious knowledge about Seachem products, and shared with us some interesting background information on Seachem! The first topic of the day was Plant Fertilizing. We covered all types of plant nutrients ant talked about the different brands in detail.
The second subject we covered was Water Treatment. You will find some interesting info - not only about Nature Aquarium related products, but also some Marine stuff.

EPISODE 3: AQUARIUM WATER AND CO2
The third part of the Aquarium Setup Series covers two subjects. First one is about the water quality in the Nature Aquarium. We talk about water hardness - GH and KH, as well as the different water parameters. We show you how a Reverse Osmosis Filter works and talk about water purification.
The second part of the live show covers another important subject: the Carbon-Dioxide and Oxigen cycle of an aquarium. You will learn about the parts of a CO2 system (the pressure reducer for our 450 liter tank was sponsored by Oxyturbo) and the importance of CO2 injection.

The second part of the Aquarium Setup Series talks about the single most important topic of all types of aquariums: Filtration! Why is that so important? What kind of filters are on the market? Which filter to choose from the hundreds of products? How to avoid algae with just the right filtration?
We also show you some behind-the-scenes images on how Eheim filters are manufactured in Germany (Eheim has sponsored us with two Professional 3 - 2080 filters for the 450 liter tank), as well as exclusive images on filter materials - under microscope.

EPISODE 1: AQUARIUM SELECTION GUIDE
The first part of the Aquarium Setup Series is about the aquarium itself. Professional aquascapers and Green Aqua founders, Balázs Farkas and Viktor Lantos will give you ideas on how to choose the right aquarium, present you the different styles, glass types, and they will also talk about the cabinets.
We also show you some behind-the-scenes images on how the aquariums and the cabinets are manufactured, and you will get plenty of inspiration as well as links to further inspirational styles.
